two hundred and forty six

(It’s September 4th.)

I went up to Woodward today to sing at the FCA meeting. I got some free pizza, so that was cool.

At that meeting, I just realized how happy I am to not be in high school anymore. High school was not a terrible experience for me. It was actually a pretty good one. But, it’s one of those things where you get out and you realize that what the adults around you always said was true: “In the big scheme of things, high school doesn’t matter.”  It doesn’t matter who you were, what you wore, or what group you fit in. Life after high school is oh so good. In so many different ways.
