Twenty Nine

(Pretend that it’s January 29th)

Waking up refreshed and ready to go from Karen’s cast party last night, our parents met us at Karen’s dorm. Her parents decided to leave before traffic got too bad and we went to Boston to walk some of the Freedom Trail. If you’ve never been to Boston, the Freedom Trail is this really cool concept (that I wish they had in every city) where there is a red line of bricks and paint on the sidewalk that you follow to a bunch of historic, touristy Boston sights. It’s such a great idea. We got to see a bunch of landmarks and we did it all on foot, not a big, ugly tour bus.

We ate lunch at Quincy Market and shopped around a little bit, continued on the trail to the boardwalk, and then walked back to our car. It was freeeeeezing, but it was such a nice walk around the city. We stopped in the park to watch the dogs play and we saw this guy that was wearing a bunch of junk, but playing songs and singing with it. It was so crazy and awesome. Non said I could do that instead of going to grad school.

The weather, the food, the company, the city. All in all, it was a beautiful day.
